Ruiz Torres Wineries
Bodegas Ruiz Torres is the result of our family’s career dedicated to the elaboration, aging and bottling of wines, currently managed by the third generation. Our logo is a reminder of the cave paintings found in caves in our region, Sierra de Guadalupe within the Villuercas- Ibores-Jara Geopark. The winery is located in a spectacular enclave in the town of Cañamero, 15 km from the Royal Monastery of Guadalupe, in the province of Cáceres. The
wine tradition of the area dates back to the 14th century, in the Monastery of Guadalupe. In 2005 the Extremadura Council awarded the winery with the “Business Consistency” Award, recognizing it as one of the oldest companies in the region.
