La Pelina Winery
Bodegas la Pelina is located in Matenegra, next to Balneario el Raposo, a company that is committed to quality and wine tourism in a company that is committed to quality and food and wine tourism in Extremadura.
Founded in 1881, it is one of the oldest wineries in Extremadura, with more than a century of winemaking tradition.
Four generations of winemakers have have shaped its history, knowing how to maintain the essence and look with optimism to the 21st century, betting on the elaboration of unique wines with personality and character.
A history based on the harmony, the essence and the tradition of Matanegra, a wine-growing area in the south of Extremadura of Extremadura with peculiarities that make it unique in the work of the vineyards and in the production of wines.
