1. Almendralejo Wine Science Museum

The Almendralejo Wine Science Museum, on the occasion of “International Museum Day” and within the framework of “12 May Oenological Day,” is launching the “GLASS IN HAND VISIT” activity.

This activity will be held for the first time and free of charge next Saturday, May 18, in two sessions: at 11:45 a.m. and at 1:00 p.m. Registration is required at the museum, by calling 924 667 852, or by emailing the museum.

4. Turra Museum

The museum of the Santa Marta de los Barros cooperative offers a journey through its history, extols the values ​​of cooperativism, and amazes visitors.

The museum is built in the old storage pits where the grape remains were deposited after the must was extracted. It still preserves the tank’s entrance holes, now filled in, and the gates through which workers extracted the grape residue with forks.
