1. Almendralejo Wine Science Museum
The Almendralejo Wine Science Museum, on the occasion of “International Museum Day” and within the framework of “12 May Oenological Day,” is launching the “GLASS IN HAND VISIT” activity.
This activity will be held for the first time and free of charge next Saturday, May 18, in two sessions: at 11:45 a.m. and at 1:00 p.m. Registration is required at the museum, by calling 924 667 852, or by emailing the museum.

This activity will be available the rest of the year for 10 euros per person.
2. MUVI, Historical and Ethnographic Museum of Villafranca de Los Barros
The MUVI offers a fun educational activity for children and adults this Saturday, May 18th at 11:30 a.m. at the MUVI: “TINTIN, CASTÚO AND POETRY.” A fun guided tour hosted by Tintinophile Juan Manuel Manzano and poet Sánchez del Viejo.

3. Geological and Mining Museum of Santa Marta de Los Barros
Celebrate International Museum Day at the Geological and Mining Museum of Santa Marta.
It houses one of the largest collections of minerals from southwestern Iberia. It also offers all kinds of activities related to mineralogy and mining, attracting both experts and laymen alike due to the spectacular nature of some of the exhibits.

4. Turra Museum
The museum of the Santa Marta de los Barros cooperative offers a journey through its history, extols the values of cooperativism, and amazes visitors.
The museum is built in the old storage pits where the grape remains were deposited after the must was extracted. It still preserves the tank’s entrance holes, now filled in, and the gates through which workers extracted the grape residue with forks.
